50k /25k/5k Snowshoe Race

Located on the Snow Mountain Ranch YMCA Property, this snowshoe race boasts two different courses and will have an option for everyone. Our 50k race will run through some of the less know trails around the property including Pete's Loop!

Course Information:
This race requires snowshoes... On your feet, in your pack, on your back, or adorned as a hat, must be on your person for the length of the race.
**Due to the nature of the course, the weather, and trail conditions, this course may and most likely will be modified leading up to race day. Keep an eye on your inbox the weeks leading up to the race to see the finalized version. Expect singletrack, doubletrack, and groomed snowshoe trails.**

Runner Info
-Start/Finish line will be at the CCO Campers Hub next door to the Nordic Center at YMCA Snow Mountain Ranch, look for the Running Wild Arch and Tent Village.

-This is a snowshoe race, each athlete MUST have snowshoes on their feet or packed on their person.
-Each racer will receive a custom bib number as well as a Race The Ranch beanie at bib pickup
-Each finisher will receive a custom engraved Miir Camp Mug
Parking is in designated spots ONLY. Please be respectful so we can continue to have this event and their support!
-50k at 8am, 25k/5k at 9am.
-Course cut-off is set at 10 hours. 7.5 hour cutoff for the final lap.
-An email will go out to all participants race week with additional information.
-This event is cup-less.
Packet Pick up
We prefer you to pick your bib up on Friday, which makes the race day go much smoother. If you are unable to do so, we will have a limited pickup morning of the event. Don't show up 10 minutes before your race starts and expect an expedited process.

Water/Skratch, chips, cookies, bananas, vegetable soup/broth, and an assortment of salty/sweet snacks will be at each aid station. Less packaged junk and more fresh food at each aid!
This is a cup-less event.
We prefer you to use a cup or bottle that you already have. You can also purchase a Running Wild reusable cup during packet pickup for $5 (cash/venmo no credit card)
